Sketching, Drawing

Children learn to observe the world closely and put what they see on paper. Using pencil, charcoal, and colored pencils, they practice line, shape, proportion, perspective, and shading. Lessons move from simple shapes and fun exercises to drawing objects, animals, people, and their own imaginative ideas. Drawing builds patience, attention to detail, and fine motor skills, and gives children a creative way to express themselves.
