Avaze Irani
Avaz is the traditional art of Persian singing. Children learn healthy breathing, how to use their voice correctly, and how to sing in tune. Step by step, they learn tahrir, the distinctive vocal ornament of Persian singing, and explore the dastgahs and their gushehs through children's songs and pieces from the radif. Lessons also introduce classical Persian poetry, connecting children with the language and culture behind the music.
