About Zavieh Music Academy
Sara Zavieh, the founder of Zavieh Music Academy’s two esteemed branches in Tehran and Vancouver, is a pianist and lecturer in music history at the University of Art in Tehran. With a degree in Piano Performance from the Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPGU) and a degree in Composition from the University of Art in Tehran, Sara Zavieh has dedicated her life to the pursuit and teaching of music. In July 2016, she founded the Zavieh Music Institute in Tehran (https://Zaviehmusic.com), marking the beginning of a journey that would expand to Vancouver eight years later with the inauguration of Zavieh Music Academy on September 1, 2024 (https://zavieh.cclubz.ir/).
Located on the picturesque North Shore, Zavieh Music Academy is a specialized institution that embodies excellence in music education. Managed by a faculty member from the University of Art and supported by a team of seasoned and scholarly professionals, the academy offers a comprehensive curriculum across three major musical disciplines: classical, traditional (Persian), and pop music.
Zavieh Music Academy is committed to the noble art of music, offering students an enriching environment where they can flourish under the guidance of dedicated educators who are also renowned musicians and artists. The academy’s state-of-the-art facilities were meticulously designed and constructed over two months, culminating in its grand opening on September 1, 2024. This unique space is a sanctuary for music education, designed to inspire creativity and a deep appreciation for the art.
